Faster IRS Refunds in 2010!
Based on the IRS CADE Refund Cycle Flow Chart and 2010 Refund Schedule. It appears that refunds will be direct deposited in 5-6 days from the date of IRS Acknowledgement.
IRS CADE Refund Cycle Flow:
Day 1 - Return transmitted and accepted by 11:00 AM - Return goes to GMF*
Day 2 - Balance & Control (B&C) Performed-Return posts to CADE if Balanced
Day 6 - Direct deposits are sent four business days after return posts to CADE**
Day 8 – Paper checks are sent six business days after return posts to CADE**
* - If it is a weekend or holiday, the return will go in the next business day’s GMF run.
** - The IRS does not guarantee a specific date that a refund will be deposited into a taxpayer's financial institution
account or mailed.
